Shutting it Down in Brussels

Ok, so... Jet Airways has been shutting it down. Shutting it down with its face, shutting it down with its makeup, and especially shutting it down with the ridiculously comfortable pajamas, Bulgari scented hot towels, Bernadaud china, and Tamarind-quality in-flight meal. Seriously, that was some good Vegetable Chaat. I cannot, however, help but feel awkward about being escorted everywhere and having one ridiculous one-sided conversation after another with my escorts about things like how many people have died as a result of Brussels' recent snowfall and which European countries have the hottest women. According to Claus: not Belgium, but maybe Spain.

I watched fifteen minutes of High School Musical 3 while I ate dinner on the plane (even the cabin staff had a hard time keeping up with how quickly I could put down four courses), and the only positive thing I can say about this movie is that Marnie's boyfriend from Halloweentown 3: Halloween Has Ben's Eyes is in it. It did, however, make me want to go to bed as soon as the meal was over. I am saving the good movies for my next flight -- the one I'm trying to stay awake during.

I slept... kind of... but with all the fanfare of eating and changing and opening and closing those little doors next to my seat and changing again, I maybe slept for two and a half hours before we landed. I actually feel fairly well rested, considering, and a shower has helped. I am going to sit in front of a window for some light therapy, because I have heard this is something people do.

Boarding again soon. Hope these flights aren't the nicest part of the trip, though I'm getting pretty excited to play with my once furry, now normal fake nephew Ben Crawford, which should be pretty nice. Hope he likes his present.

Monkey sightings = 1. No wait, that was Zack Efron.
